Janis's Story

To all others, I'll try to summarize my history. Yes, I was first diagnosed with labrynthitis, then a couple of years later, Meniere's Disease, Fibromyalsia, then a year ago - December, I believe - with anomalous migraines. They thought I was also experiencing TIA's but a new MRI ruled that out.

The medications that 1st got me feeling great last summer were Hydrochlorot, Meclazine, Amitryptiline then Depakote. The hid ALL depression, spinning wobblies, severe vertigo AND pain, too!

After a few months, however, I ended up in the ER due to massive swelling, and stroke like symptoms. The combination of medications REALLY caused extensive brain fog, however, it's been a few months since I've been off the major ones and finally have a pretty good handle on the depression - the bad side is the fibromyalsia pain is horrid again.

I am still quite night blind and have problems driving in a straight line, but it is improving.

I just pray daily that the vertigo remission is permanent!

The eye exercises I don't believe helped, however, the new "new" glasses allow me to read again which is quite nice.

Hope this helps.
Janis
